Absolute Golf Services Continues its Expansion by being Appointed as Management Company of the World-Renowned Mines Resort & Golf Club, Malaysia

Bangkok, Thailand (January 6, 2025) – Absolute Golf Services (AGS) are delighted to announce the signing to our management portfolio of The Mines Resort & Golf Club, Malaysia. The agreement, including strategic oversight of the significant renovation and redevelopment plans of the world renowned golf facility, that has hosted multiple PGA Tour Events, including the CIMB Asia Classic, Asian Tour events, along with both the Men’s and Ladies World Cup of Golf, which in 1999 saw Tiger Woods and Mark O’Meara crowned World Champions.

The Mines Resort & Golf Club designed by the critically acclaimed architect Robert Trent Jones Jr, and first opening for play in 1994, The Mines a true masterpiece of environmental restoration and constructive reengineering, as the site was transformed from a land hostile to nature to a spectacular golf course teaming with a plethora of wildlife, flora and fauna. Construction commenced in 1993 uniting both miracles of man and nature, a unique transformation of the world's largest open-cast tin mine. The cessation of mining in 1982 transfigured a land once rich in precious minerals into a wonder that is manifestation of aesthetic beauty and the splendour of nature, The Mines Resort & Golf Club.
